You may have heard ultrasonic processors referred to as “sonicators.” What you might not have known is that Sonicator® is a registered trademark, owned by Qsonica. Our Sonicators have been the gold standard for so long that they have become the “Google” or “Band-Aid” of our industry.

Qsonica has been a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of ultrasonic liquid processors for over 40 years and produces some of the most powerful, technologically advanced and reliable ultrasonic devices on the market.

The Sonicator brand was originally produced by Heat Systems Ultrasonics in the 1970's. Heat Systems was re-named Misonix, Inc. in 1990. In 2009, the Misonix Sonicator brand was purchased by Qsonica, LLC, in a partnership that brings together decades of ultrasonic engineering and application expertise.

Since the early 70's, the applications for ultrasonic liquid processors have grown exponentially. Today Sonicator products can be found around the world in thousands of laboratories with homogenization, emulsification, dispersion, and other applications spanning the fields of microbiology, nanotechnology, epigenetics, life science, R&D, engineering and food processing, to name a few.

We pride ourselves on our customer-centric approach and the ability to quickly adapt and respond to an ever-changing marketplace. Advancing the latest ultrasonic technology, Qsonica is always willing to invest time and effort to develop new and exciting probes and accessories as innovative solutions for new or challenging applications.

Qsonica utilizes state-of-the-art machinery and design tools to maintain our cutting-edge approach to research and development. Our 60,000 sq.ft facility houses the latest in titanium machining equipment and ultrasonic horn analysis software.

Sonicators are designed, developed and produced in our manufacturing facility located at the company's corporate headquarters in Newtown, Connecticut. Qsonica has been certified by DQS, Inc. to ISO9001:2015.
